Your little neighborhood market and deli where one can get anything from sunscreen to a true Cuban sandwich. Everything is fairly priced and reasonable -- even for south beach. They served me promptly and the food was good. Good Sammie place if you are looking for a quick bite or need that deodorant that just ran out :-)
I am a big fan of Ocean deli - their subs are only $10! The best part is, they can be prepared exactly how you like them and they are always done quickly. Without a doubt, this is the top sandwich spot in South Beach.
Was at an event at the Miami convention center and didn't feel like paying $20.00 for the convention stale food so we ventured out not even one block and found this cute bodega style deli. They have a hot table and a sandwich/ sun counter all with board head meats. Of course I was in Miami and had to get a Cuban and it didn't disappoint! Delish and fast and under $10.00! Def recommend!
Unassuming and plain on the outside, all the action and coolness is on the inside! I swear we stepped into a NYC deli. The store is crowded but organized and had a ton of foods you can't get at Publix! The deli counter is a little intimidating for first timers, but the staff is super friendly and helpful. The day we just happened to walk by saw it, we just wanted to grab some snacks to take to the beach. There was hot, homestyle Cuban food, huge sandwiches, and tons of fresh stuff behind the counter! We ended up ordering a few subs & chips, but oh man!!! My kids and I are STILL dreaming about how good those sandwiches were. Toasty French baguettes loaded with amazing ingredients?! Can't wait to get back down there & get more! Just go try it! Worth the crazy roads and street parking. If you park in the lot nearby, make your way here before the beach!
Hot food is trustable. Ladies who works behind counter scooping my food made me feel very secure in my choice and it did not disappoint at all. I had the shrimp w rice and some pulled pork. Solid option for a whole meal or snacks. They had sandwiches too nd my friends got them nd enjoyed it.
